Advice From My Experience

3 Career advice from my experience

Introduction

I've been working in the financial industry for almost a decade now. I've seen many people come and go, but one thing remains constant: your career doesn't last forever. So here are my three career advice to anyone just starting out in their career:

Advice From My Experience

Don't sell anything you don't belive in

Don't sell anything you don't believe in. You don't have to be a salesperson or an entrepreneur, but if you're not passionate about something and selling it is your only way of making money, then your business will eventually fail.

Don't work for someone you don't admire. I worked for a few years as an assistant manager at a hardware store that was owned by my uncle and aunt (who also owned the restaurant where I would later get my first job). The pay was good but there were other things going on at work besides just managing the store; there was always politics involved because we were family members and they had their own agenda—which often got in the way of our goals as employees.

Don't work for anyone you don't admire

My career advice to you is this: Don't work for anyone you don't admire. If the company doesn't value what you do, then it will be a struggle every day.

You'll be more motivated to work harder and achieve more because your job is something that matters in the eyes of others—and that's important! You'll also be able to help grow an organization by contributing something important (like a new idea) or just helping make things run smoothly amidst chaos. Plus, when people are passionate about their jobs, they tend to give off positive vibes too!

Don't spend all income, focus on saving and investing

Don't spend all income.

I know this is a no-brainer, but it's also one of the most important pieces of advice I can give you. If you have money left after paying bills, investing in yourself and saving for your future should be at the top of your list. This can be as simple as putting away 5% of each paycheck into an emergency fund (or even better—a Roth IRA) or doing some smart shopping around for health insurance that doesn't cost too much per month. The point is: don't spend everything!

These are my three career advice to anyone just starting out in their career.

•Don't sell something you don't believe in

•Don't work for someone you don't admire

•Don’t spend all your income, focus on saving and investing

Conclusion

I hope these three career advice have helped clear up some of your questions about how to start your own business and grow it into a successful career. These are all things I wish someone had told me when I was starting out.
